Best Easy Felicity The Frog (!) Free Crochet Pattern

Are you looking for the absolute best free pattern for a felicity the frog (!)? You have come to the perfect place! We have found this top-rated, incredibly easy crochet design that is guaranteed to be a huge hit. Whether you want a quick weekend project or a beautiful handmade gift, this pattern is fun, straightforward, and looks absolutely stunning when finished. Grab your softest yarn and let’s get started on your new favorite project!

Materials:

  • DK Weight Yarn: approx. 100 grams green
  • 3.5mm crochet hook
  • You can also try using worsted weight yarn & a 4 or 4.5mm hook, but the plushie size will vary depending on your tension.
  • 8-mm Black Safety Eyes
  • Fiber Filling
  • Yarn needle & stitch marker

Gauge:

Exact tension and gauge are not critical for this pattern. However, you can always adjust your hook size if need be. For example, if you crochet loosely and you find the amigurumi is looking holey, go down a hook size.

Notes:

  1. All body parts are crocheted separately and then sewn together according to the finishing instructions.
  2. All parts are made in continuous rounds. Do not join at the end of each round unless otherwise specified.
  3. Turning chain does not count as a stitch.
  4. Place a stitch marker at the end of each round and move it up as you go.
  5. When a number is placed after a stitch (i.e. sc 7) it means that you should single crochet in each of the next 7 stitches.

Measurements/Sizing:

8 to 9 inches from the top of the head to the tip of the toe

This is a pretty big crochet frog pattern, but if you want to make it even larger, you can use worsted or even bulky weight yarn! That will definitely get you an even bigger, fluffier frog (especially if you use Bernat Blanket yarn!)
