Mini No-Sew Crochet Octopus

Welcome back to another delightful crochet project! Today, we have an absolutely adorable and incredibly quick pattern for you: the Mini No-Sew Crochet Octopus! If you love crafting tiny amigurumi and need the perfect little make for craft fairs or quick gifts, this fun and completely no-sew oceanic friend is going to be your next favorite make.

This pattern is wonderfully adaptable and absolutely perfect for using up small amounts of scrap yarn. While the instructions are tailored for their tiny, classic size, you can easily adjust the size variations depending on the yarn used—swap out fine cotton for super bulky velvet yarn to create a massive, huggable octopus plushie! Grab your hooks, settle into your favorite crafting spot, and let’s dive into making these adorable little octopuses!

Splash into cuteness with these Mini No-Sew Crochet Octopuses! Looking for a quick and colorful project that’s as fun to make as it is to gift (or keep)? Meet your new favorite yarn buddy: the mini crochet octopus, made with the fabulous Bernat Maker Splash Yarn!

Why you’ll love it:
– It’s no-sew: which means these little guys are crocheted all in one piece! No need to stitch on tentacles afterward. They are worked right in.
– They’re tiny but mighty! Measuring just 3×3 inches and bursting with personality.
– And best of all? ONE skein makes about 10 octopi! That’s a whole pod of cuteness from just a single ball of yarn.

Just add a bit of poly-fil stuffing, some safety eyes, and a stitched-on smile, and you’ve got the happiest, splashiest creature on the block.

About the yarn:
Let’s talk about what makes Bernat Maker Splash so perfect for this project. This tubular yarn combines the soft cottony feel of the original Bernat Maker with a fun new twist: self-striping color splashes that give every stitch a surprise pop. It has cotton shell and nylon filling, making ti plump, pillowy, and squishably soft. Think vibrant, trendy shades that change on their own as you go.
