Pattern Extras

If you’d like to “dress up” your kitty, you might like these cute add-ons:
  • Mini bow (free crochet pattern)
  • Mini flower (free crochet pattern)
If you have a penchant for floral things, you can even crochet 5 or 6 mini flowers to create a “flower crown” accessory for your pouch! I think it’d look beautiful in all the same color, or as different colors. Simply embroider the flowers to the head, just below the ears.

Recommended Yarn

This pattern is designed using super bulky weight 6 chenille velvet yarn, which results in a very soft and plush texture. My recommended yarn for this project is Toucan, Honey Bunny, or Baby Snuggle from Hobbii. Blanket yarn can also be used for this pattern.
