CARRYING POUCH
Free Crochet Pattern
Introduction:

Level of Difficulty:
Stitches/Terms Used:
- FO = fasten off
- MR = magic ring
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- fpdc = front post double crochet
- dc-inc = dc increase (insert 2 dc in same st)
Materials:
- Medium weight (4) yarn
- 5mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Note: The starting chains do not count towards the final stitch count.
R1: In MR, ch 2 and insert 12 dc. *Join with a sl st to the first dc. (12 dc)
R2: Ch 2, (dc, dc-inc) around. *Join. (18 dc)
R3: Ch 2, (dc 2, fpdc) around. *Join. (18 dc)
R4: Repeat R3.
R5: Ch 1, sc around. *Join. (18 sc)
To create a loop: ch 8 and join with a sl st to the same st.
To add optional texture: sl st around in each of the sc in R5.
Finally, fasten off and weave in the ends.


Below are ideas for customization to make your pouch unique and special!
- Create a necklace bag by attaching the ends of a long string to the sides of the pouch.
- Add a keyring to the loop to attach it to your keys, lanyard, backpack, etc.
- Switch to different yarn colors for each round of the bag.
